About us
Green Bean is a small, family owned preschool with a large purpose. Our program is designed to expose children to both the French and English languages from a young age. Children learn through songs, stories, art, nature, games and other interactive activities. It's often said that childhood is the best time to learn a new language. But we also use the dual-language structure as a platform to spark curiosity and give our children the tools to understand how to learn in a school setting. We believe this translates into academic success and a lifelong love of learning.
Our small size allows us to provide an intimate, caring, and nurturing environment for our students. We see a class size of between 12 and 16 kids as ideal -- children can develop their social skills by forming meaningful relationships with peers they see every day. At Green Bean we care about the growth of the child's mind and body. This is why we are also green and organic. We use environmentally friendly-chemical free cleaners, and serve 4 organic meals daily. We understand that helping children transition from infancy to school-age -- often while spending their first real time away from home -- is a big responsibility.
The core of Green Bean's mission is to provide a family environment that makes both children and parents comfortable, while giving kids a head start on skills, like language, that will help them grow.
